Thank you for stopping by, I’m really glad you made it here. This site is for people from all facets of life; independent of race, ethnicity, culture, gender, religion, sexual preference or political affiliation. This is for you: a little bit of everything, a lot about anything and every once in a while…totally opinionated.

I do not necessarily have encyclopedic knowledge, nor do I have the answers to all the questions of the Universe, but in the past 46 years I have obtained an incredible amount of experience, wisdom and knowledge on a broad spectrum of issues. With the help of my son Markus (who does actually have encyclopedic knowledge) I decided to make this blogazine and yes, it is different from what you are probably used to. It encompasses many different aspects of life, gives opinions that might rattle your cage, and I am quite certain is not politically correct in any manner or fashion. If you cannot take the heat, get out of the kitchen. This is not your typical blog site. I try to stay open minded, objective and honest.  I state facts (if it’s an informative blog-post), backed up by research (if applicable) so that topic related blogs have validity and credibility (something important I learned in college), meaning…I will try not to ‘sell you any BS’. Some topics (probably most of them) will edge on, others will make you think, some will make you sad (hopefully not because of my writing style), some make you laugh, and hopefully some will entertain.  I write about life, issues that affect all of us, things that tick me off and about others that I just have no understanding for. I will say this: Although this blog claims to be for everyone and anyone, there are those that I hope not to see here and that are not welcome. I have no tolerance for individuals that harm others, meaning those that believe harming the innocent is their ‘lifestyle’ and part of their constitutional right. Not on this planet, not in my world.

My name is Dennicé, I’m 46 and mother of four wonderful kids and yes, even though the ‘wonderful’ is cliché and ALL parents claim their kids to be the best, mine are…occasionally >smile<

I guess because of our experiences (and mine before ‘life with kids’) I have quite a bit to say on almost everything, which is something that I have always done, whether someone wanted to hear it or not. Now I’m at a point in my life, where I realize that some of what I have to say has actually helped one or two people and that was the reason for this blog; to possibly reach more people and if I can, help more. I won’t just put something out there and claim it is true; I do intense research to back up my information, so that what I say has credibility. I use credible sources, citations, and references (thanks Kaplan for teaching me APA), and will give you the possibility to check out the facts for yourself.

So sit back and read, learn, laugh, get angry, be thoughtful, be inquisitive, perhaps a bit melancholic or reminisce of days gone by, but hopefully you will enjoy your stay here.

Just remember one thing along the way, as cliché as it sounds;

Smile, it’s easier than frowning, it’s contagious and it heals the soul!
